Qualifications

• 3+ years welding experience required.
• Able to operate a forklift.
• Able to read complex prints and specs.
• Proficient with shop math and measurement tools.
• Willing to train others.
• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Able to work overtime.
• Good interpersonal/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily pre-shift safety and workload meetings.
• Communicate daily work assignments and schedules.
• Operate forklift to move parts and keep line flowing.
• Complete foreman’s daily report.
• Identify performance issues and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with other departments.
• Maintain accurate daily records.
• Lead training of new employees.
• Maintain safe work environment with PPE compliance.
• Coordinate scheduling to cover vacancies.
• Track reject tags and assign rework.
• Order supplies as needed.
