Job summary
Valmont Industries in Valley, Nebraska is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Maintenance Department, coordinate preventive maintenance, and drive reliability across production equipment. Qualifications
- Associates/Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance with 4+ years experience.
- Two years of leadership experience required.
- Willingness to travel up to 5% as needed.
- Strong communication and organizational skills required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related tools.
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance department resources and safety programs.
- Administer preventive maintenance for all production equipment.
- Coordinate internal and external maintenance resources to control costs.
- Collaborate with engineers, managers and supervisors on equipment upgrades.
- Schedule training to improve maintenance capabilities.
- Maintain machine history files and improve reliability.
- Ensure 24/7 operation with on-call / off-shift coverage.
- Promote safety, environmental compliance and continuous improvement.
