Job summary

Valmont is hiring an Auto Robot Welding Lead in Valley, Nebraska. You will run robotic welding systems, lead a production line, train teammates and collaborate with the Supervisor.

The role requires strong leadership, safety discipline, and the ability to optimize line performance while upholding quality standards. The ideal candidate will have Welder C status or higher, a HS diploma or GED, forklift and crane tests, and experience with Excel/Word/Outlook.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 11+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass forklift and crane operator tests.
• Currently Welder C status or higher.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Robotic welding operation in the welding shop.
• Run and edit robotic programs.
• Inspect and measure parts to ensure blueprint specifications.
• Lead and coach shift personnel for safety, quality and productivity.
• Assist in set-ups, changeovers and line leadership tasks.
• Train and develop team members; ensure proper operation of equipment.
