Valmont Industries seeks a Production Supervisor for the Irrigation Division at the Valley, Nebraska site. You will lead production operations, drive lean initiatives, and coach staff to meet safety, quality, and output goals.

The role requires hands‑on leadership, problem solving, and the ability to manage a large team effectively. You will oversee scheduling, maintenance, and continuous improvement efforts, with opportunities to travel for project learning and implement best practices across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or an Associate’s with 5+ years of relevant experience or 7+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles including standard work and continuous improvement
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production operations of the Irrigation Department
• Manage resources to meet safety, quality, and production goals
• Identify best practices, perform lean audits and kaizen events
• Use reports to gauge plant performance and drive decisions
• Control operation expenses for materials and equipment
• Staff and develop production personnel and supervisors
• Ensure regulatory and safety requirements are met
• Plan staffing to maximize efficiency and utilization
• Lead a team of up to 60 direct reports and foster engagement
• Promote a continuous productivity improvement culture
