Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking a Welding & Fabrication Instructor for the Rocky Mountain Region. This role moves experienced welders into a leadership position, mentoring the next generation of tradespeople while maintaining hands-on involvement.

You will teach welding techniques, demonstrate CNC equipment, and support student safety and project work in a dynamic, outdoor-access setting near Laramie, Wyoming. A strong communicator with 7+ years in welding is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience with blueprint reading, cutting techniques, and shop safety protocols.
• Familiarity with CNC and digital shop tools, or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Teach welding techniques (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW) through lectures and hands-on instruction.
• Demonstrate equipment use, including CNC plasma tables and automated cutters.
• Support students with shop safety, measuring, layout, and cutting accuracy.
• Use grading software and collaborate on curriculum development and projects.
