Job summary
Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Welding & Fabrication Instructor for the Rocky Mountain Region. The role transitions a welder or fabricator from the shop floor into a leadership position, guiding the next generation of tradespeople through lectures and hands-on instruction.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of welding/fabrication experience, strong communication, and a team-focused mindset. Certifications are a plus, and the role includes full benefits and tuition reimbursement,
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional welding/fabrication experience
- Background in blueprint reading and cutting techniques
- Familiarity with CNC or digital shop tools preferred
- Strong communication and team-oriented mindset
- Certifications (AWS/API) a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Teach welding techniques (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW) through lectures and hands-on shop instruction
- Demonstrate equipment use including CNC plasma tables and automated cutters
- Support students with shop safety, measuring, layout, and cutting
- Utilize grading software and contribute to curriculum development and projects
