MDS Staffing is assisting a Rocky Mountain regional program in hiring a Welding & Fabrication Instructor. The role moves from shop floor work into a leadership position training the next generation of tradespeople.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in welding/fabrication, strong blueprint reading and safety skills, and a willingness to master CNC and digital shop tools. The position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package in a region renowned for outdoor recreation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional welding and fabrication experience.
• Background in blueprint reading, cutting techniques, and shop safety protocols.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn CNC and digital shop tools.
• Strong communication with a team-oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

• Teach welding techniques (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW) through lectures and hands-on shop instruction.
• Demonstrate equipment use—including CNC plasma tables and automated cutters.
• Support students with shop safety, accurate measuring, layout, and cutting.
• Utilize grading software and collaborate on curriculum development and projects.
