Job summary
Acloché LLC in the Rocky Mountain region seeks an experienced Welding & Fabrication Instructor to mentor the next generation while leading hands-on shop instruction. This role blends practical shop work with teaching leadership, curriculum development, and project-based learning.
The position covers welding techniques (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW), blueprint reading, shop safety, and collaboration on curriculum and projects. Industry experience and strong communication are highly valued.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional welding and fabrication experience.
- Blueprint reading, cutting techniques, and shop safety protocols.
- Familiarity with CNC and digital shop tools; willingness to learn as needed.
- Industry certifications (AWS, API) are a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Teaching welding techniques (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW) through lectures and hands-on shop instruction.
- Demonstrating equipment use—including CNC plasma tables and automated cutters.
- Supporting students with shop safety, accurate measuring, layout, and cutting.
- Utilizing grading software and collaborating on curriculum development and projects.
