Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in welding engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with multiple welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW) and welding codes.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize welding procedures for various manufacturing processes.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for welding defects.
Collaborate with design engineers to ensure weldability of new product designs.
Select appropriate welding equipment, consumables, and robotic systems.
Provide technical support and training to welding technicians and operators.
Implement and maintain welding quality control standards and inspection methods.
