Cadrex is seeking a Welder II in Bloomingdale, IL, to perform manual welding and fabricate weldments to defined specs and production schedules.

You will set up tools, read prints, inspect quality, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement on 2nd shift. Requirements include 1+ year metal manufacturing, AWS TIG certs, knowledge of welding symbols and measurement equipment; HS diploma.

Qualificações

• 1+ years in a metal manufacturing setting.
• AWS TIG welding certifications required (Stainless, Aluminum, Galvanized).
• Basic understanding of welding symbols, tolerances and measurement equipment.
• Maintain weld certifications in two or more processes as location requires.
• Ability to read prints and work orders; pass standard math calculations.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and set up tools and equipment for welding jobs.
• Arrange parts for welding and staging processes.
• Perform quality inspections per documentation and record results.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow procedures.
• Read simple instructions and write basic correspondence.
• Uphold site efficiency standards and contribute to safety/quality improvements.
• Work independently; troubleshoot and resolve issues in the work center.
• Cross-train in multiple workstations as assigned.
