Job summary

Employbridge in Batavia, IL is hiring 2nd shift TIG Welders to perform high-quality welding on steel parts, read blueprints, and set up equipment.

You will execute layout welding without templates, operate orbital welding where applicable, inspect welds, follow safety rules, and collaborate with teammates to maintain production schedules. Prior welding experience with TIG and reading weld symbols is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient TIG welding on steel parts to spec.
• Ability to read weld symbols and blueprints.
• Experience with layout welding without templates.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG welding on a variety of steel parts and assemblies according to specifications.
• Read blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to plan weld sequences.
• Set up, adjust, and maintain TIG welding equipment for optimal performance and quality.
• Visually and dimensionally inspect welds for defects per internal quality standards.
• Follow all safety guidelines and keep a clean, hazard-free work area.
• Collaborate with team to identify and resolve production or quality issues.
