CADREX Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator II in Bloomingdale, IL. The role focuses on operating and monitoring robotic welding cells, with responsibilities spanning from loading parts to ensuring weld quality and documentation.

The ideal candidate has prior experience with robotic weld cells, can troubleshoot basic issues, and works effectively with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to meet production targets while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee robotic welding cells, ensuring parts are loaded, cycled, and unloaded properly.
• Perform weld inspections using visual methods and measurement tools to verify quality.
• Adjust welding parameters and perform basic programming adjustments as needed.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment malfunctions and quality issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, changing consumables, and fixture alignment verification.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Document production and inspection data accurately.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Provide guidance and training to Robotic Weld Operator I personnel as needed.
