Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional manufacturing experience.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• 1 year experience with MIG and flux-core welding and oxyacetylene/sub arc torches preferred.
• Must pass Pulmonary Function Test when working on stainless.
• English proficiency—spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and instructions for weld procedures and layouts.
• Operate a MIG welding machine to weld headers.
• Operate oxyacetylene torches to preheat heads and cut openings.
• Perform layout and fit-up of non-ASME water jacket headers.
• Complete preventive maintenance and routine machine upkeep.
• Provide materials to various workstations and locations.
• Operate crane and hoist to load/unload components.
• Assist Team Lead with tasks and train others as needed.
• Cross-train in other areas to gain new skills.
• Maintain a clean work area and observe safety policies.
