Alfa Laval in Tulsa, OK and Broken Arrow, OK seeks a Welder II to join a hands-on manufacturing team. You will weld headers using MIG and flux-core methods, read blueprints, preheat with oxyacetylene, and perform fittings for non-code water jacket headers.

The role requires crane/hoist experience, ability to follow procedures, and strong safety awareness. Collaboration and cross-training across departments are encouraged.

Competenze

• Experience with MIG and flux-core welding processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld procedures.
• Proficient in English for safety instructions and documentation.

Mansioni

• Read blueprints and instructions to understand weld procedures, header layout, and plate thickness.
• Operate a MIG welding machine to weld headers.
• Operate oxyacetylene torches to preheat heads and cut openings.
• Perform layout & fit-up of non ASME code water jacket headers.
• Complete preventive maintenance and basic machine upkeep.
• Supply materials to workstations as needed.
• Operate crane and hoist to move heads at the workstation.
• Assist Team Lead with tasks and training others.
• Crosstrain in other areas to gain new skills.
