Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a Header Welder in Tulsa, OK and Broken Arrow, OK to weld headers per blueprints using MIG and flux core processes. The role requires reading drawings, operating oxyacetylene torches, and performing preheats and cuts while maintaining a safe, organized work area.

You will join a team focused on quality and efficiency, with opportunities to train others and cross-train in related areas. High school diploma or GED and ≥1 year of manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED with relevant experience.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred; ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with MIG and flux core welding and oxyacetylene/sub arc torches preferred.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Weld headers and components according to blueprints and layouts.
• Operate MIG welding machine and oxyacetylene torches for preheating and cutting.
• Read blueprints, perform layout and fit-up of headers, and maintain safety.
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to company safety policies.
• Assist team lead and train others as needed; crane/hoist operations.
