Job summary

Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma seeks a Welder II to fabricate metal structures per engineering specs. You will use MIG, TIG, flux core, and stick welding, interpreting blueprints and following weld procedures to produce high‑quality welds in carbon, stainless, and aluminium steels.

You will inspect welds, operate fabrication tools, and adhere to safety protocols while supporting training for entry-level welders and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of multi‑process welding experience.
• Manufacturing background preferred.
• Proficient in MIG welding and oxyacetylene torch use.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow weld procedures.
• Strong math and tape measure reading skills.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication tools and weld parts per specs.
• Inspect welds for quality and adherence to procedures.
• Train entry-level welders and share best practices.
• Maintain safety compliance and clean work area.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Crosstrain across departments.
