Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Welder Helper to support certified welders and assist with fabrication of pipes and structural components for the wind turbine industry.

Qualification includes basic welding knowledge, ability to read a tape measure, and teamwork. This on-site role offers a 6p-6a rotating shift with a $20-$22/hr pay and benefits while developing you in a growing manufacturing field.

• Experience in manufacturing or construction preferred.
• Basic understanding of welding and metal fabrication, and ability to read a tape measure and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Know your way around tool benches and equipment.

Do you have a passion for precision and a keen eye for safety? We’re looking for a motivated Welder / Fabrication Assistants to join our team in Pueblo, CO and play a key role in crafting high-quality equipment, pipes, and structural components for the wind turbine industry.

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay: $20-$22 per hour ( $3/hour night shift differential)
• Shift: 6p-6a working rotating scheduled (3 days Week 1, 4 days Week 2)

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and Maintain: Supports certified welders preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and assisting with fabrication and assembly processes.
• Lead by Example: Demonstrate safety, quality, and initiative in every project you tackle.
• Ensure Quality: Stay on top of safety standards, maintain a clean workspace, and complete daily reports to track project progress.

What We Need:

• Experience: Previously manufacturing or construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of welding and metal fabrication processes preferred and ability to read a tape measure and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Tools & Equipment: Know your way around tool benches and equipment.
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively

Pay Details:

$20.00 to $22.00 per hour
