L&L Fabrication, Inc. in Wyoming is seeking a Welder III (Pipe Welder) to support ASME-coded vessel work at one of our fabrication facilities. The role emphasizes complex welds, quality, and process improvement while training teammates.
You must hold 6G certification prior to hire and be proficient in GMAW, FCAW, SMAW per WPS, with a strong safety focus. This full-time, on-site position offers $30.00–$40.00/hr in a fast-paced shop environment.
The Welder III [ PIPE WELDER ] is a fulltime role that will operate out of one of the L&L Fabrication Welding facilities. This role will be expected to actively work to scheduled shop needs. This welder will be leaned on for the more complex joints requiring NDT and have an expectation of passing at a 100% rate. This candidate would be competent in welding but also be willing to exercise the ability to do other tasks, such fitting their own parts, training team members, and work on the further development of processes for the betterment of the team. This expectation and outlined Roles/Duties may be adjusted to align with organizational need at any time.
Rate of Pay – $30.00-40.00/hr
L&L Fabrication is an ASME Code vessel shop Holding U and R stamps. We offer ASME-coded work built to spec, along with repairs and maintenance on used pressure-rated equipment. Requirements for the Role:
- 3G weld Test – ¾” Plate Test Vertical Up (GMAW Root / GMAW-Pulse or FCAW hot and cap)
- 6G weld Test – 2 XXH pipe test (SMAW Root / GMAW-Pulse or FCAW hot and cap)
