Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Welder (1st) at its Greenwood, SC facility. The role offers a $22.83 per hour base pay with eligibility for a variable incentive program and core hours of 5 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Thursday. The salary is a guideline and depends on experience, skills and market factors.

Responsibilities include welding using correct machine setups, fabricating fixtures as needed, and performing quality inspections. Safety, 5S, and teamwork are emphasized in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a welding certification in Basic Welding.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Eaton does not sponsor immigration or support CPT/OPT/STEM OPT programs.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC.

Responsibilities

• Weld parts using proper machine settings and rod/wire and gas selections.
• Fabricate fixtures to aid in the welding process.
• Inspect finished parts and identify nonconforming items.
• Maintain safety and 5S practices throughout the shift.
