Eat on’s ES AMER ARS PDCADdivision is seeking a Welder for the Weekend Shift at Eaton Corporation in Greenwood, SC. The position offers a base hourly rate of $22.83 plus an 11.12% shift differential and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Core hours are 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday through Sunday. The role involves setting up and performing metal joining and cutting on ferrous and nonferrous metals, reading drawings, selecting welding parameters, maintaining quality, and ensuring safety

Competenze

• Must have a high school diploma OR Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Must have a welding certification in MIG or Basic Welding (i.e., Piedmont Technical College Basic Welding Certificate).
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the work location will be considered.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.

Mansioni

• Set up and perform metal joining and cutting operations for ferrous and nonferrous metals (steel, aluminum, cast metals).
• Weld parts using proper machine settings and rod or wire and gas selections.
• Fabricate fixtures to aid the welding process.
• Locate details on complex assemblies and follow drawings or instructions.
• Ensure quality through measurements and visual inspections; identify nonconforming parts.
• Troubleshoot welding equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain safety and 5S standards.
• Communicate concerns and progress effectively.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail throughout the welding process.
