Teichman Group, LLC, a leader in marine services, seeks a skilled welder/fabricator. Responsibilities include designing and fabricating metal components for various projects. Ideal candidates will have welding certifications, experience, and a commitment to safety in a dynamic work environment.
JOB SUMMARY
Teichman Group, LLC, an industry leader in marine services and emergency response, develops and builds much of our own equipment. As a welder/fabricator in our metal fabrication shop, you will be responsible for designing, cutting, and shaping aluminum, carbon, and stainless steel.
Fabrication of shipping containers, firefighting pumps, dredges, vessels, heavy lift cranes, and barges are just a few examples of the projects involved.

SHIFT INFORMATION
Standard work schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:45 pm, with a 45-minute lunch break. Extended hours and occasional travel may be required.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling. Employees may need to lift/move up to 50 pounds independently or more with assistance. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception. PPE must be worn as prescribed.
The work environment is a non-climate-controlled shop with outdoor exposure, involving mechanical parts, heights, fumes, weather, and noise. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.
We maintain a drug-free workplace and conduct pre-employment drug screens, background checks, and possibly physical fitness tests. Random and post-accident drug testing may also occur.
