Job Description

Shift: 1st shift

Days of Work: Monday – Friday

Work Hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm

Location: On-site (Houma, LA)

Salary Range: $27.56 to $38.59 per hour

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

• Weld metal components using brazing, arc, and gas welding to fabricate or repair products like machine parts, motors, and generators.
• Perform thermal cutting, grinding, and related tasks.
• Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes, and modify metal parts as needed.
• Position and clamp components for welding.
• Follow documented welding procedures.
• Create parts for products and facility use.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings, and blueprints.
• Collaborate with supervisors on projects.
• Test products and complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Operate company equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
• Adhere to ISO procedures and safety training.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Job Requirements:

• Pass pre-employment screenings: background, MVR, physical, drug test.
• Comply with drug and alcohol policies; subject to random testing.
• Willing to work evenings/weekends if needed.
• Complete required training.
• Operate vehicles per regulations if travel is required.
• Valid ID and basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills, ability to read/write instructions, prioritize tasks, and work independently or with a team.

Experience / Skills:

High school diploma or GED; or 5+ years related experience or equivalent.
