Job summary

InProduction, Inc. is seeking a skilled welder for our South Carolina shop. The role focuses on MIG and TIG welding of aluminum and steel, with some fabrication, reading prints, and accurate tape measurements.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with overtime as needed and must stay productive while maintaining quality. Requirements include 3 years of MIG/TIG welding aluminum and steel, ability to read prints, reliable transportation, and physical dexterity to lift up to 75

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience MIG & TIG welding aluminum and steel.
• Ability to read prints and measure accurately with a tape measure.
• Must have reliable transportation and be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• MIG & TIG welding of aluminum and steel.
• Some fabrication will be required with this position.
• Welding on carbon steel various thickness with MIG.
• Welding on aluminum various thickness with MIG and TIG.
• Work on other shop equipment such as manual mills, press-brake, saws, grinders, drills, etc.
• Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality.
• Must be proficient in aluminum and steel.
• Must be able to work un-supervised and maintain productivity.
• Responding to quick turn-around orders some overtime required.
• Performing well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Compensation:

Starting rate: $20/ hour.
