Job summary

InProduction, Inc. in Landrum, SC is seeking a skilled welder to join our shop team. You will perform Mig & Tig welding on aluminum and steel, read blueprints, and work with tape measures to ensure accuracy.

This fast-paced role requires reliability and the ability to work without supervision. Qualified candidates have 3 years of Mig/Tig welding experience, can read prints, and can lift up to 75 lbs. We offer health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, paid holidays, floating holiday,

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience Mig & Tig welding aluminum & steel.
• Must read prints and accurately read a tape measure.
• Must be able to work unsupervised and maintain productivity.

Responsibilities

• Mig & Tig welding of aluminum and steel.
• Fabrication as needed.
• Welding on carbon steel and aluminum with MIG/TIG.
• Operate shop equipment (mills, press-brake, saws, grinders, drills).
• Maintain production level and quality.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area.
• Respond to quick-turn orders with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Mig & Tig welding of aluminum and steel.

• Some fabrication will be required with this position
• Welding on carbon steel various thickness with MIG.
• Welding on aluminum various thickness with MIG and TIG.
• Work on other shop equipment such as manual mills, press-brake, saws, grinders, drills, etc.
• Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality.
• Must be proficient in aluminum and steel.
• Must be able to work un-supervised and maintain productivity.
• Responding to quick turn-around orders some overtime required.
• Performing well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

• 3 years’ experience Mig & Tig welding aluminum & steel
• Certified Welder a plus
• Must be able to read prints & ACCURATELY read a tape measure
• Must have reliable transportation
• Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform related duties and responsibilities of this job, including lifting to 75 lbs.

Compensation:

Starting rate: $18 per hour based on experience.
