Job summary

InProduction, Inc. is seeking a skilled welder to join our fabrication shop supporting live events. The role focuses on MIG & TIG welding of aluminum and steel, reading prints, and maintaining high quality in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate basic shop equipment, perform light fabrication, and handle workloads with safety and reliability. Minimum 3 years experience and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required; certification is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience with MIG & TIG welding of aluminum & steel
  • Certified Welder a plus
  • Must read prints and accurately read a tape measure
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to lift up to 75 lbs

Responsibilities

  • MIG & TIG welding of aluminum and steel.
  • Some fabrication will be required with this position
  • Welding on carbon steel various thickness with MIG.
  • Welding on aluminum various thickness with MIG and TIG.
  • Operate shop equipment such as manual mills, press-brake, saws, grinders, drills, etc.
  • Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality.
  • Must be proficient in aluminum and steel.
  • Must be able to work un-supervised and maintain productivity.
  • Respond to quick turn-around orders with some overtime.
  • Perform well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Maintain and clean equipment and work area.

Compensation:

Starting rate: $18 per hour based on experience.
