Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions, Inc. DBA CCFS is seeking a Weight & Research Manager in Pricing to lead weighing and research across the organization, ensuring accurate freight classification and weight representation, protecting revenue and driving audit accuracy.

The role requires leading a team, partnering with Sales, Operations, and Compliance, and serving as the NMFC subject matter expert to uphold safety and continuous improvement standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, operations, or supply chain.
• 2+ years of management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop a team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
• Ability to explain and document classification corrections clearly.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of NMFC provisions and weight/inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Weight & Research team to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Lead data-driven process improvement initiatives and research NMFC regulations and best practices.
• Monitor weights for accuracy and regulatory compliance across shipments.
• Review inspection reports and perform cost-benefit analyses when needed.
• Ensure revenue is protected by accurate invoicing through inspection, dimensioning, and classification review.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Compliance to align weight and research processes.
