Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions seeks a Weight & Research Manager to lead the weighing and research program across the organization, ensuring accurate freight classification and weight representation. You will drive audit accuracy, operational excellence, and a culture of safety while guiding a team and partnering with Sales, Operations, and Compliance.

The role requires NMFC knowledge, strong communication, and 3+ years in logistics with management experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, operations, or supply chain.
• 2+ years of management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop a team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; ability to document classification corrections.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the W&R team to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Lead data-driven process improvements and research NMFC provisions.
• Monitor weights and shipments for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Review inspection reports and perform cost-benefit analyses.
• Ensure accurate invoicing through inspection, dimensioner data analysis, and NMFC classification review.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Compliance to maintain audit accuracy.
