Qualifications

• 3+ years in logistics, transportation, operations, or supply chain.
• 2+ years of management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
• Ability to explain and document classification corrections clearly.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of NMFC provisions and industry practices.
• Experience with weight and research/inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the W&R team to foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive data-driven process improvements and stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
• Monitor weights and shipments for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Review inspection reports and conduct cost-benefit analyses.
• Ensure accurate invoicing through inspection, data analysis, and classification review.
• Research NMFC descriptions and class for applicable shipments.
• Resolve customer disputes to determine correct classification and issue corrections as needed.
• Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and present findings to leadership.
• Oversee equipment usage and compliance with procedures.
