Job summary

Tasting Room Expo is seeking a friendly Tasting Room Sales Associate to join our team on Saturdays and/or Sundays. You will welcome guests, guide tastings, share our story, and help create memorable experiences at partner wineries.

You should have a passion for wine, enjoy engaging with guests, and be able to handle sales using POS, maintain the tasting room, and work with a team to deliver outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Exceptional guest service skills and wine enthusiasm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests.
• Strong interpersonal awareness and relationship management.
• Weekend availability; occasional holidays/events as needed.
• Professional appearance and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to obtain SB certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately and provide engaging experiences to build brand loyalty.
• Maintain attractive tasting room displays reflecting brand standards.
• ID guests and serve samples in various settings while ensuring legal compliance.
• Educate guests about wines, winemaker, brand history, and properties.
• Promote product sales; encourage club membership and add-on purchases.
• Accurately use POS and winery systems; transaction posting and end-of-day reports.
• Support teamwork through clear communication and collaboration.
• Follow policies and procedures; perform opening/closing duties and housekeeping.
• Handle restocking, table setup, and general tasting room operations.
• Adapt to events and external locations during special occasions.
