Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Wilmer, Texas is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse staff, including forklift operators. The role includes coaching, safety checks, and backup coverage for various warehouse functions such as shipping, inventory, and material handling.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in warehouse operations, 6 months in a supervisory role, and a valid forklift license or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• 6 months leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers; conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Perform daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with SQFI, FDA and customer requirements.
• Move products using powered industrial equipment; help with shipping/receiving, packing, inventory control as needed.
• Serve as backup to supervisor and cover other warehouse roles as needed.
