Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse staff, including forklift operators, while supporting daily operations and safety compliance. The role involves leading by example, conducting training, and backing up supervisory duties as needed.

Candidate should have 2+ years in warehouse settings with leadership exposure, be licensed or able to obtain a forklift license, and participate in safety and compliance activities across shipping, receiving, and inventory

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Lead daily tasks and support supervisor as needed.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure PIT operations are compliant.
• Assist with shipping/receiving, inventory, and paperwork.
• Support cycle counts and reporting of variances.
• Back up other warehouse roles as needed.
