Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Texas to coach and train warehouse associates and forklift operators, covering daily tasks and backing up supervisors as needed. The role supports shipping/receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse functions while emphasizing safety and efficiency.

The position requires 2 years of warehouse experience with leadership exposure, ability to operate PIT equipment, and flexibility for overtime or weekend hours. Strong computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be able to operate a reach truck, EPJ, and sit-down forklift.
• Must be flexible with hours as this position will require some OT and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Back up supervisor as needed and cover inbound/outbound coordinators.
• Oversee shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, and general warehouse functions.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Review daily production reports and communicate variances to leadership.
