Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Temple, Texas is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, manage daily tasks, and back up supervisory duties. The Lead may cover shipping/receiving, inventory control, and material handling.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least 2 years in warehouse operations and 6 months of leadership experience, and be licensed forklift operators or able to obtain certification. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or obtain Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers, and certify PIT annually.
• Conduct observations and safety checks.
• Operate powered industrial equipment to move products.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and regulations.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances.
• Provide backup to supervisor as needed.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as department requires.
