Job summary

Rowan at Haywood Mall in Greenville, SC, is seeking a customer-focused Studio Sales Associate to create an exceptional piercing and shopping experience on weekends. You will assist with ear piercings, offer product recommendations, and uphold Rowan’s cleanliness and safety standards in a friendly, energetic environment.

As part of the team, you’ll upsell non-piercing jewelry and aftercare kits, process transactions, maintain inventory, and collaborate with the Studio Manager.

Qualifications

• Retail or service industry experience is a plus.
• You must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays.

• The role involves tasks that may include climbing ladders, bending, lifting, pushing, and reaching above and below the waist. The ability to lift up to 25 pounds is required.
• Standing for a full 8-hour shift is a regular part of this role.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help create a celebratory environment.
• Check customers in or help them book an appointment using POS and systems.
• Help customers choose and style piercing and hypoallergenic jewelry.
• Answer questions about piercing procedures, aftercare, and product details.
• Promote and upsell Rowan’s products, including non-piercing jewelry and aftercare kits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Rowan’s offerings and care instructions.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and communicate value to customers.
• Keep the studio clean, organized, and stocked with supplies and displays.
• Assist with inventory management and paperwork.
• Process transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Maintain accurate customer records and consent/waiver forms.
