Job summary

Rowan in Walt Whitman studio is seeking a friendly Studio Sales Associate to create an exemplary piercing and shopping experience on weekends. You will assist customers with ear piercings, provide product recommendations, upsell non-piercing jewelry, and help maintain studio cleanliness and safety.

This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Studio Manager and offers strong teamwork and opportunities to grow with Rowan.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays.
• Independent thinker with a can-do attitude.
• Love for jewelry and helping customers choose earrings.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers to create a celebratory environment.
• Check customers in or book appointments using POS and software systems.
• Assist customers with ear piercings and jewelry selections; upsell related items.
• Answer questions about piercing procedures, aftercare, and product details.
• Process transactions accurately and manage returns/exchanges.
• Keep the studio clean, stocked, and organized; maintain inventory and displays.
• Collaborate with Studio Manager and Studio Nurse Piercers to deliver seamless service.
