Job summary

Harvard Protection Services is seeking a Customer Service Officer to provide professional customer-focused security and life safety services for people and property. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, maintaining a professional presence, monitoring the environment, answering inquiries, and enforcing site policies with a strong emphasis on safety and respect.

The role requires a minimum high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and valid security credentials.

Qualifications

• Reliable means of communication and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor while aiding customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
• Maintain a visible presence in the facility / building assigned.
• Monitor the environment and detect suspicious or unsafe activity.
• Greet customers, visitors, staff, tenants, guests in a professional manner.
• Answer phones in a professional manner and assist guests and employees.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Follow established emergency action plans and procedures.
• Monitor alarms and systems as required.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
