Job summary

Lunar Healthcare at Copper Ridge is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality nursing care in a skilled nursing facility. The RN Supervisor coordinates clinical operations, ensures compliance with policies, and acts as a liaison among units, the DON, and medical staff during weekend shifts.

The ideal candidate holds current RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and has leadership experience supervising GNA and LPN staff.

Qualifications

Current state nursing licensure.
BLS/CPR certification.
Experience supervising GNA’s and LPN’s in a nursing home setting.
Responsible and compassionate with outstanding organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Observe and monitor residents’ health and assess their needs to provide quality care.
Work with physicians to create individual care plans and assist during procedures.
Maintain healthcare records and reports.
Supervise and train LPNs and GNAs.
Administer medications and provide emergency care when necessary.
Collaborate with team to maintain staffing coverage.
Notify physicians and families of significant health changes.
Investigate complaints and address resolutions.
