Job summary

Lunar Healthcare at Copper Ridge is recruiting a Staff Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing in delivering quality care in a skilled nursing facility. The RN Supervisor acts as a clinical operations liaison, oversees staff, and ensures compliance with policies and regulations during assigned shifts and weekends.

The role requires a current RN license, BLS/CPR, and strong leadership and communication skills, with experience supervising GNA’s and LPN's.

Qualifications

Current state nursing licensure is required.
BLS/CPR certification required.
In-depth knowledge of nursing care methods and health and safety guidelines.
Experience supervising GNA’s and LPN's in a nursing home setting.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Observe and monitor residents’ health and assess their needs to provide quality care.
Work with physicians to create care plans and assist with procedures.
Maintain healthcare records and reports per best practices.
Supervise and train LPNs and GNAs on staff.
Administer medications and provide emergency medical care when needed.
Collaborate with DON to ensure adequate staffing and limit overtime.
Ensure timely notification of changes in patient health to physicians and families.
