Job summary
Copper Ridge Nursing & Assisted Living Center is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor for the weekend shift (7a-11p) to support the Director of Nursing and lead the nursing team in a skilled nursing facility. The RN Supervisor ensures efficient clinical operations, maintains records, coordinates with physicians, and mentors LPNs and GNAs while upholding Copper Ridge's standards and patient safety.
This role requires strong organizational skills, CMS compliance, and a commitment to minimising
Qualifications
- Current state nursing licensure.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Mandatory COVID‑19 vaccination as mandated by CMS guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Observe and monitor residents’ health and assess needs to provide quality care.
- Collaborate with physicians to create and adjust care plans.
- Maintain accurate health records and reports per best practices.
- Supervise and train LPNs and GNAs on staff.
- Administer medications and injections; provide emergency care as needed.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness within the facility.
- Coordinate staffing with the DON to ensure adequate coverage.
- Monitor nursing performance and ensure timely service delivery.
- Notify physicians and families of significant health changes.
- Assure readiness to treat after prospective admissions.
