Job summary

EDMOND HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT is seeking a licensed nurse to provide skilled nursing care to residents under medical direction. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to assess and implement individualized care plans, perform comprehensive assessments, and participate in MDS-related activities.

The role includes supervising CNAs and licensed nurses, coordinating physician rounds, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services to residents in accordance with scope of practice, facility policies and professional standards of care.
• Monitor residents for acute changes of condition and notify provider as needed.
• Assist with admission, orientation, and discharge planning processes.
• Administer medications according to orders and document administration.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care plans.
• Oversee CNAs and licensed nurses as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in quality committees (QAPI, infection control, safety, risk management).
• Maintain documentation in EMR/nurse notes and reports, and ensure timely assessments (MDS).
• Provide wound care, nutrition monitoring, and fall prevention measures as part of resident safety.
