Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed by the state of Oklahoma.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care environment is required.
• Diploma from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job is required.
• Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and work cooperatively with other associates.
• Must have excellent communication and teaching skills in both individual and group settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act and regulations.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs and CMAs.
• Utilize PPE and infection control protocols in all functions.
• Coordinate with nursing care and resident services to maintain the total care regimen.
• Maintain and chart resident information, including medications, orders, and discharge planning support.
