Job summary

Priority Management Group, LLC is seeking a weekend RN supervisor to oversee the Nursing Services team on weekends and provide direct resident care in a long-term care setting. You will supervise Charge Nurses, CNAs and CMAs, ensure compliance with current standards, and support the Director/Assistant Director of Nursing Services as required.

The role requires a Texas RN degree, and up to two years of supervisor experience in a healthcare facility; rehabilitative nursing training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Texas Registered Nursing degree or higher is required.
• Up to two years as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related health care facility preferred.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to age-related needs of residents.
• Demonstrates teamwork, patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Nursing Services staff, including Charge Nurses, CNAs and CMAs on weekends.
• Make written and verbal reports and recommendations about shift activities.
• Interpret and enforce Nursing Services Policies and Procedures.
• Coordinate with other resident services to maintain the resident’s total care plan.
• Maintain safety by ensuring SDSs exist for hazardous chemicals and equipment.
• Participate in developing procedures for safe operation of Nursing Services equipment.
