• Oversee Medication Management: monitor administration and reorder processes.
• Implement Care Plans: ensure plans follow policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: transcribe orders, complete assessments, maintain records.
• Lead Shift Communication: participate in shift reports and inform staff of care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: enforce infection control and safe work practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: investigate variances, contact families, complete reports.
• Manage Lab Work: monitor orders, results, and physician follow-up.
