Qualifications

• Must be a Texas-licensed RN.
• Strong leadership, clinical assessment, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage shift workflows and emergencies.

• Reliable attendance; weekend shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: assign and delegate duties based on census and staff.
• Oversee Medication Management: monitor administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: ensure care plans are followed per policy and orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: transcribe orders, complete assessments, maintain records.
• Lead Shift Communication: participate in shift reports and share care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: enforce infection control and safe practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: investigate variances, contact families, file reports.
• Manage Lab Work: monitor orders, results, and physician follow-up.
