The ideal candidate is an RN licensed in Texas with strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills, capable of handling emergencies and coordinating with the team to maintain seamless care delivery.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Texas.
• Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to remain composed during emergencies and manage workflow.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: Assign and delegate duties according to census and staff availability.
• Oversee Medication Management: Monitor administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: Ensure plans follow policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: Perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: Transcribe orders and maintain records.
• Lead Shift Communication: Share shift reports and inform staff of needs.
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce infection control and safe practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: Coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: Investigate variances and complete reports.
• Manage Lab Work: Monitor lab orders and follow up.
