Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: Assign and delegate duties based on census and staffing.
• Oversee Medication Management: Monitor administration and reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: Ensure plans follow policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: Perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: Transcribe orders and maintain accurate records.
• Lead Shift Communication: Participate in reports and inform staff of care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce infection control and safe work practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: Coordinate coverage during shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: Investigate variances and complete incident reports.
• Manage Lab Work: Monitor orders, results, and follow-up.
