Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas.
• Proven leadership and coordination skills.
• Strong documentation and assessment abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: Assign and delegate duties based on census and staff availability.
• Oversee Medication Management: Monitor administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: Ensure care plans follow policy and orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: Perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: Transcribe orders, complete assessments, and keep records accurate.
• Lead Shift Communication: Contribute to shift reports and inform staff of care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce infection control procedures and safe practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: Coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: Investigate variances, contact families, complete reports.
• Manage Lab Work: Monitor lab orders, results, and physician follow-up.
