Job summary
Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor in El Paso, TX to lead nursing staff during weekend shifts. You will oversee medication management, care plans, documentation, and shift communication to ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will be a Texas-licensed RN with strong leadership, clinical skills, and the ability to stay composed during emergencies while coordinating care with the team for optimal weekend operations.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensed in Texas.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Calm under emergencies with ability to manage workflow.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and delegate duties based on census and staffing.
- Oversee medication management and coordinate reorders.
- Ensure care plans are followed per policy and physician orders.
- Provide direct care support and supervise treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely transcription of orders.
- Lead shift communications and ensure staff are informed of care needs.
- Enforce infection control procedures and safe work practices.
- Coordinate coverage for staffing shortages during weekends.
- Investigate variances, contact families, and complete incident reports.
- Monitor lab orders and physician follow‑ups.
