Job summary

Wellington Rehabilitation & Healthcare is seeking a Weekend Nursing Supervisor (RN) to lead nursing staff, oversee resident care, and ensure high-quality outcomes. This part-time role requires weekend availability and strong leadership to mentor staff and maintain compliance with care plans.

You will conduct assessments, support treatment planning, and foster a collaborative environment. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and a commitment to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience; ideally in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• At least 1 year of nursing administration experience.
• Strong leadership, team-building and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work weekends with flexibility and adaptability.
• Completion of Preceptor Training (or willingness to complete upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring adequate coverage and quality resident care.
• Staff development and training to ensure staff are equipped to provide exceptional care.
• Direct resident care per individualized care plans.
• Conduct and document resident assessments upon admission and during stay.
• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans while upholding resident rights and facility policies.
• Recruit and retain skilled nursing professionals.
• Address concerns from residents and families with professional escalation.
• Drive continuous improvement and support a results-driven management team.
