Job summary
Diseño Flowers and Designs is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Weekend RN Supervisor. The role oversees weekend nursing staff (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), ensuring outstanding patient care, coordinated staffing, and efficient clinical operations within our facility.
The successful candidate will supervise, mentor, and address escalation needs while maintaining regulatory compliance and documenting care plans.
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in acute care, long-term care, or relevant healthcare setting preferred.
- CPR and BLS certifications required; ACLS preferred.
- Ability to supervise weekend staffing and coordinate care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise weekend nursing staff (Fri–Sun) and manage scheduling.
- Oversee patient care, review plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Provide clinical leadership and mentor staff to improve nursing practices.
- Resolve clinical/operational issues during weekend shifts.
- Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance; support audits.
- Support ongoing education and skill development of staff.
- Coordinate with physicians and administrative teams for weekend operations.
- Be on-call for urgent issues outside scheduled shifts.
